The Tardis Committee are delighted to announce that Bridgehouse Village's defibrillator is now installed.
Should a 999 call be made to the Scottish Ambulance Service advising of a suspected cardiac arrest in the local area, callers will be informed of it's location and the keypad code to open the security box. Anyone can operate this device and it is impossible to 'shock' a person by accident.
Let's hope we never have to put this into practice, but re-assuring to know that it is there if needed.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative over the past 12 months
